SAGGING CHAIR
HOW TO RESTORE IT. If a cane-seated chair or stool shows signs of sagging, turn it upside down and sponge the cane with hot, stronglysalted water. Then stand the chair in a draught of air to dry, and do not use for a day or two. Chairs of cane treated in this way seldom need re-caning.
