Sharpies, of Island Bay, Wellington, is on a holiday visit to Masterton. Mr and Mrs Geo. Thompson, of Carterton, accompanied by their son, are visiting Wellington. Miss Peggy Dentice and Miss Shirley Donnelly, of Lyall Bay, are the guests x of Mrs Gordon Smith, Hamua, for the College term holidays. Misses Brenda Wylie (Nikau) and Marjorie Connell (Konini) were amongst the debutantes at the Wanganui College Old Girls’ Ball. Mrs R. Milne, of Masterton, is making a short stay in Auckland on her way to Whangarei and Paihia, Bay of Islands. Mrs Norman James, of Masterton,_ is visiting Auckland, and is staying with her daughter, Mrs Stuart S. Wilson, of Orakei Road, Remuera. Nurses J. Lloyd and N. Thompson, of Auckland, who are making a cycle tour of the North. Island, are the guests of Mrs Richard. Taylor, Pahiatua. ENGAGEMENT. HORN ABROOK—COLLINS.. Mr and Mrs D. C.
