KAIPARORO RIFLE CLUB. (“Times-Age” Special.) A service shoot was fired on the j Kaiparoro Club's range. Rifleman F. Schormann was top scorer with 1121 points, thereby winning Mr W. I Knowle’s Challenge Cup and also Mr; J. Torrey’s trophy. > The shoot on Saturday last over the 800 and 900 yards ranges for a trophy donated by Mr W. Oldham was won by Rifleman L. At the opening of the table tennis season by the local club visitors were present from the Masterton, Kuripuni, and Mauriceville clubs. lllegal Taking of Trout. At the S.M. Court, Lawrence Williams, Howard Eriksen and Gordon Isakson were jointly charged, on the information of the Wellington Acclimatisation Society, that they did use unsportsmanlike devices torches and spears, for the taking of trout. Enksen and Isakson pleaded guilty, and Williams did not appear. Each defendant was fined £5. At a sitting of the Eketahuna S.M. Court, Mr H. P.
