DANISH STEAMER ON FIRE. , PASSENGERS & CREW TAKEN OFF. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 9.25 a.m.) COLOMBO, May 10. The Pando steamer Canton put .out and rescued 35 passengers, also the crew of the Danish steamer Alsia, which was afire in the engine room, nine miles south of Ceylon. The Alsia ran aground off Gable Beach.
