SHED BLOWN OVER

PUBLIC WORKS EMPLOYEE INJURED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ASHBURTON, May 10. A fractured pelvis and serious internal injuries were received by Osburne McQueen, an employee of the Public Works Department, at the Klondyke Headworks of the Rangitata water diversion scheme. Mr McQueen was closing the door of a small galvanised iron storage shed when the building was blown over by a north-west gale, the corner of the roof striking him. He is a married man. aged 31, and resides in Christchurch. His condition is satisfactory.
