INTERNAL LOAN
RESERVE BANK TO HANDLE NEW ISSUE. STATEMENT BY PREMIER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. A statement that the details of the internal loan to be raised by the Government would probably be ready in a day or two for release to the public was made last evening by the Prime Minister, Mr Savage. He had no comment to make on a report from Christchurch that the amount of the loan was to be £3,000,000, at 4 per cent. The Reserve Bank would be handling the Issue, he said.
