RADIO TRANSMITTERS

MASTERTON BRANCH. l/ORTNIGHTLY MEETING. The fortnightly meeting of the Masterton branch of the New Zealand Association of Radio Transmitters was held in the club room, Perry's Building, last evening. Mr C. R. Dahlbergh presided over a good attendance of members. General business was discussed and future activities were outlined and discussed. Recently a series of lectures on radio, commencing with fundamentals were given, and last evening alternating currents in radio circuits were described with the aid of an oscillograph, which actually showed their appearance. Rectifiers of different types were also described. Members were keenly interested. Next week a description of a simple receiver and its action will be given.
