ALFREDTON TALKIES

TOMORROW NIGHT. Bobby Breen has never before been so happily cast as he is in “Hawaii Calls,” which will be shown tomorrow night at Alfredton. This outstanding boy singer appears as a former Sar Francisco bootblack who joins hjf little Hawaiian newsboy friend in e trip to Honolulu as a stowaway. Bobby is very natural and boy-like in the part and gives by far the finest performance of his career. Especially enjoyable is his singing of half a dozen songs, including “Macushla” and the lovely “Aloha.” Comedian Ned Sparks is delightful as the ship’s musician who befriends the boys, while the Hawaiian singers and dancers make this picture a musical treat that will long be remembered by patrons.
