AGREEMENT EXPECTED
BETWEEN BRITAIN AND TURKEY. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.35 a.m.) RUGBY. May 9. Angora reports indicate that an early announcement of an Anglo-Turkish Agreement may be expected. Britain throughout her consultations with Russia and Turkey has maintained the closest contact with France. GERMAN CREDITS. PLAN APPROVED IN TURKEY. (Independent Cable Service.) (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) INSTANBUL. May 9. Parliament has ratified the agreement with Germany, under which Turkey is granted 150,000.000 marks credits repayable in ten years, for industrial and military requirements.
