WEDDING
BALL—INGLEY. The marriage took place in the chapel of St Matthew’s Church last night of Miss Nita Ingley, younger daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Thomas Ingley, of Te Ore Ore, and Mr William Ball, .youngest son of Mr and Mrs G. Ball, Chapel Street, Masterton. Miss Ingley is well known in mus'ical circles in Masterton and Mr Ball is on the staff of Wairarapa College. The ceremony was performed by Canon Sykes, of Greytown. The bride, who was escorted to the altar by Mr J. Barnard, of Greytown, a very old and intimate friend of the family, looked a picture of charming simplicity in her lace gown of magnolia shade over ivy satin, worn with a .-ilk net veil of deep cream tone (lent by a friend), and with a topknot of deep cream velvet roses. Her gown was adorned with a beautiful pearl necklace and her bouquet was composed of lilies and freesias, with spikes of blue delphiniums. Miss Ella Burling of Lansdowne, made a charming oridesmaid, her frock being one of stiffened blue lace with petunia satin and petunia velvet flowered headdress. Her beautiful bouquet was of fuschia and carnations to match the petunia tonings. Mr Jack Richards ably supported the bridegroom. After the ceremony a reception to a few of the more intimate friends of the bride and bridegroom was held at the residence of Mr and Mrs R. Page, Essex Street, where a happy time was spent, many musical items making the party a great success. The bride travelled in a tailored clover frock with navy coat and hal and carried a charming posy of carnations, the gift of a friend. Mr and Mrs Billie Ball will make their home in Masterton.
