Federal department experts, in a report to the Ministry dealing with the industrial growth of Australia, declare that Australian industrial development has reached a point at which goods to a value of £31,000,000 a year, which now arc being imported, could be manufactured in Australia. Of this total £18,000.000 represents goods now imported from Britain and other Empire countries.
