CANADA CONCERNED
OVER ANGLO-AMERICAN BARTER PLAN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. OTTAWA, May 6. The proposed barter agreement between Britain and the United States is causing the Cabinet concern. Members fear that the exchange of American wheat for British rubber may shut Canada out of the British wheat market where it was hoped to sell 160,000,000 bushels of the new crop. A Wall Street journal quotes Cabinet Ministers as stating that the barter proposals is a breach of the tripartite trade pacts. /
