LABOUR PARTY
SUCCESSFUL PADDY’S MARKET.. The Masterton branch of the Labour Party held a most successful Paddy’s Market in the Y.M.C.A. Hall on Saturday afternoon. The varied wellstocked stalls were freely patronised and a satisfactory sum was raised. Competitions were won as follow:HNail driving, Mr W. H. Edwards (men); Mrs Milne (ladies); baby show, one to six months, Lois Valier; 6 to 12 months, Thelma Spicer; one to two years, Elizabeth White. The organisers wish to thank all those who gave donations and in any way contributed to the success of the Market.
