Mrs E. Jenkins and family, Renall Street, Masterton. are on holiday at Paraparaumu. Miss Patty Peek, of Masterton. is spending the school vacation with her grand-parents in Picton. Mrs George Taylor, of Masterton, and her two daughters are spending a short holiday in Wanganui. Mrs Thomas Page, of' Eketahuna, has gone to Auckland, where she will take up her residence for the winter months.

Miss J. Dickson, of Auckland, is spending the school holidays with her parents, Mr and Mrs W. Dickson, Victoria Street, Masterton.

Miss Betty Renner, of the Training College, Wellington, is visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs J. Renner, Renall Street, Masterton. Dr. and Mrs Cunningham, of Auckland and their two daughters are spending the school vacation with Mrs Beckingsale (Mrs Cunningham’s mother), Coradine Street, Masterton. The following have accepted the position of vice-president of the Wairarapa Basketball Association for 193940:—Mesdames F. J. Kilmister and D. Rutherford and Messrs J. Hanley and F. J. Kilmister.
