The value of attractive advertising in newspapers and magazines with large circulations has again been proved by an experience of the Tourist and Publicity Department. Included in the department’s ’advertising campaign in North America was an attractive insertion in the National Geographic Magazine and as a direct result of this, replies were received from the Republics of Colombia, Brazil, and Chile and also from such wide-apart countries as Turkey and Indo-China.
