BALKAN UNITY

QUESTIONS IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS PROBLEMS OUTSTANDING. GREAT BRITAIN’S ATTITUDE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 1. In the House of Commons today Mr Chamberlain was asked whether he would consider what steps could be taken to assist in settling the outstanding questions between Rumania, Bulgaria, and Greece on such matters as the Dobrudja and an outlet for Bulgaria to the Aegean Sea at Dede Agatch with a view to preserving the principle of co-operation between the Balkan countries to resist aggression. Mr Chamberlain replied that the Government, while attaching the greatest importance to the principle of Balkan unity, considered that the questions to which the questioner referred must primarily be settled by negotiations between the countries concerned.
