The track was hard and the weather perfect. Totalisator investments were £7171 for seven races, compared with £7449 last year. For the meeting the total was £15,378, compared with £15121, an increase of £257. Rebel Rank fell in the sixth race, broke his leg, and was destroyed. His jockey. R. Caddy, broke his left arm.
