In Britain smoke from domestic chimneys does more harm than industrial smoke. The former is responsible for damage amounting to £30,000,000, the latter for £25,000,000. Esperanto, the “universal" language, is in daily use in Finland, Sweden and Franco. The Air Ministry of the lastnamed country has recognised Esperanto in its training courses.
