ON VALIDITY OF IMPORT RESTRICTIONS. LONG SUPREME COURT HEARING. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND. May 1. The action to determine the validity of the import control regulations introduced last December was. concluded before Mr Justice Callan in the Supreme Court today. The proceedings occupied the Court for four days. It was a test case brought by F. E. Jackson • and Company, importers, against the Collector of Customs claiming delivery of certain imported goods, plus £lOO damages for wrongful detention. The Court reserved its decision.
