JUMP TO DEATH
KELBURN VIADUCT TRAGEDY VICTIM FOUND ON TRAM LINE. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The second fatality within a month occurred at the Kelburn viaduct, Wellington. at 9.25 o’clock last night, when a young man fell from the parapet to the road below. ' . The victim was Mr H. (Harry) Baty, whose parents live in the Greymouth district. He was a single man in his twenties, and lived at 224 Vivian Street. Wellington. He had been employed recently. There was no witness of the apparent suicide, but an overcoat was afterward found folded on the parapet. The fatality was discovered when the body obstructed the passage of a tram travelling from the city. An ambulance was summoned and the body taken to the city morgue.
