HUMAN FREEDOM

BOUND UP WITH CHURCH.

WEAKENING OF FAITH WOULD BE DISASTROUS. ’’Mr J. Snell, of Wellington, Dominion vice-president of the Church of England Men’s Society, was the chief guest and speaker at the monthly meeting of the Masterton Branch held last evening. Mr Snell spoke of the marked progress being made by the society and the opportunities for further advance. Many were realising that the safety of human freedom was bound up with the Christian Church. Any weakening of the Christian faith would be disastrous to all that was best in life. The society was built bn right foundations and had a great part to play in strengthening Christian forces. Mr Snell was heartily thanked for his interesting address.
