* WAIRARAPA CLUB’S CONCLUDING MEETING. RECORD ENTRIES AND KEEN CONTESTS. Record entries received from many parts of the North Island and keen racing characterised the last tin-hare race meeting of the season held by the Wairarapa Coursing Club at the Solway Showgrounds on Saturday. Although the weather was threatening there was a good attendance of the public. The principal event, the Wairarapa Championship, was won by Mr L. Wells’s Black Rufus, in a time which equalled the course record established in the heat. Detailed results are as follow:
