Mr and Mrs R. A. Bunny, “Maringi,” are visiting Hawke’s Bay. Mrs Leslie Moss, Lower Hutt, is staying with Miss E. Robieson, Pownall Street, Masterton. Mr and Mrs C. Nicholls, Christchurch. are visiting Masterton for the Milne-Monro wedding today. Mrs C. T. R. Richardson, The Terrace. Lansdowne, is staying with her daughter. Mrs R. Hardie, Feilding. Mr and Mrs lan Speedy, Tinui, who have been visiting Wellington, are now staying at Paraparaumu Beach. Mrs D. Stilborn, who has been staying in Masterton, has returned to Tinui. Miss Mary Monro, Feilding, is spending a few days with her parents, Mr and Mrs C. C. Monro, King Edward Street, Lansdowne. Misses Betty and Vivienne Blamires, of Wellington, and formerly of Masterton, are visiting Christchurch where they are the guests of Mr and Mrs W. Hutchens. The members of the Haunui Croquet Club have presented Miss Eva Card (president) with an address of appreciation of her services to the club. Mrs Gale, Waiau, was at Christchurch yesterday admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court. She is believed to be the first married woman admitted in the Dominion. She was formerly Miss Audrey Eberlet, New Plymouth, and graduated at Canterbury College. ENGAGEMENT. OGILVY—JONES. The engagement is announced from .London of Nancy, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs G. A. Jones, late of Johnsonville, to Graham, youngest son of Mrs Ogilvy, The Terrace, and, the late Mr David Ogilvy, Masterton.
