LANG REFUSES TO RESIGN LEADERSHIP. DEFIANCE OF “MINORITY” DICTATION.” | By Telegraph—Press Association -Copyright. SYDNEY, April 28, Following yesterday's Parliamentary Labour caucus, when several members demanded Mr J. T. Lang's resignation from the leadership of the official Labour Party, Mr Lang today issued a statement declaring that he was determined to continue his leadership till the annual conference called for his resignation. He added: “If anybody imagines that there is going to be a cold-blooded assassination, he will make a tremendous mistake. I will stay where I- am and figh't this minority dictation.”
