CHURCH SERVICES
Special services to mark the opening of the second stage of the Wellington Diocesan Centenary Campaign will be held at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow by the Rev. E. J. Rich. Services will be held also at Kopuaranga. Brancepeth and Kuripuni. The services at the Salvation Army tomorrow will be conducted by Major J. Nelson, of Wellington. The Major is the divisional commander for the Wairarapa district. He is a fluent speaker and a powerful exponent of the Gospel message. He has spent a few years in China on missionary work, and has gained a wealth of knowledge of this land. All are heartily invited to these special services. The services in the Methodist Church tomorrow will be conducted in the morning, and in the evening by the Rev. Robert Dickie, while the Rev. F. .1. Parker is away in Dunedin. The morning service at the Kuripuni Methodist Church will be conducted by Mr A. Handyside. For the evening service cars will leave the church at 6.50 p.m., to take all worshippers to the town church.
