RABBITSKIN SALE
PRICES AT DUNEDIN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, April 27. There was a large offering of rabbitskins at today’s auction. The market showed an improved tone, competition generally being keen for all descriptions. A few orders were on the market for the United States and Australia. Local furriers also gave support. Compared with late quotations hatters’ and inferior grades sold at from par to a shade firmer, while furriers are quoted Id to 2d higher. The official range of prices is as follows:—Small, 7,|d to 9jd a lb; runners, 15]d to 16|d; light racks, 20d to 201 d; prime racks, 17!|d to 181 d; summers, 13d to 14Jd; dawny autumns, 19id to 21Jd; first early autumns, 25:'d to 29d; first late autumns, 36.] dto 40.]d; first incomings, 36d to 45Jd; summer broken, 12d to 14d; autumn broken, 17i]d to hare skins, B.]d to 12d; first hareskins, to lGd; summer black, 10;,'d to llijd; autumn black, 17d to 21i]d; summer fawn. 3()d to 32d; autumn fawn. 40d to 42id; horse hair, 16d to 20d.
