GREYTOWN GATHERING

MISS R. RAISON HONOURED. (“Times-Age” Special.) At Greytown on Monday night, Miss Ryda Raison, who was married at Wellington on Tuesday was the guest of honour at a most enjoyable function. Dancing was indulged in to music supplied by Mr S. Te Tau. Miss Josie Dennes entertained with a recitation, and the Misses Feast with a duet. Later in the evening Mr J. C. Feast called upon Miss Raison to open the many parcels, and in doing so wished her happiness and prosperity in her married life. Mr L. Brannigan replied on behalf of Miss Raison. The Rev. Canon J. H. Sykes, on behalf of St. Luke’s Church ahd Sunday School, handed Miss Raison a crystal dish and set of silver spoons, in appreciation of the valuable service rendered by her to the Sunday School and the church. Miss Raison suitably replied. Mrs C. W. Brown made a very capable hostess. ,
