MISS JOAN PRENTICE

♦ ■- 21 ST BIRTHDAY PARTY. Recently Miss Joan Prentice, of Renall Street, Masterton, was the guest at a party given in honour of her 21st birthday. A large number of friends were present, among them being Mr and Mrs Vivian Joseph, Misses Mary Pither, Gwen Pither, Helen McGillivray, Lona Shaw, Noeline McLaren, Annette McLaren, Nancy Brown, and Margaret Wrigley. Competitions and games were thoroughly enjoyed, and at a suitable interval in the proceedings Mr A. E. Prentice presented his daughter with a key of the house amid applause. The function was a most enjoyable one.
