MASTERTON CLUB. COMPETITIONS ON WEDNESDAY. The Masterton Indoor Bowling Club will commence its competition series next Wednesday. The following are the rinks teams and their evening and starting times: — Wednesday, 7 p.m. —No 1, M. Nicol, Gleeson, Walker, Edwards (s) v McFarlane, Reeves, Buckley, Thompson (s): No 2, Trott, Jansen, Grantham, Joyce (s) v Miller, Henson, Vincent, Nuttall (s). 8.30 p.m.—No 1, Norman, Pinkney, Stains, Fenton (s) v Hanley, C. Moore, C. Roff, Finlayson (s); No 2, S. Taylor, Anstice, Ferguson, Davies (s) v Mayes, H. Smith, Dixon, Leigh (s).
Thursday, 7 p.m.—No 1, Andrews, Onion, Hendry, Pickering (s) v Mayes, H. Smith, Dixon, Leigh (s); No 2 Hanley, C. Moore, C; Roff, Finlayson (s) v Nicol, Gleeson, Walker, Edwards (s'). 8.30 p.m.—No 1, McFarlane. Reeves, Buckley, Thompson (s) v Miller, Henson, Vincent, Nuttall (s); No 2, Norman, Pinkney, Stains, Fenton (s) v Trott, Jansen, Grantham, Joyce (s). The committee make a special request that players should be present and start punctually at their starting times, also the teams should note their respective skips as a further publication of the full teams will not be made.
