DR FISHER APPOINTED. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received This pay, 10.10 a.m.‘ LONDON, April 23. The King has nominated Dr Fisher, Bishop of Chester, to succeed Dr Ingram as Bishop of London.
The Rt Rev Geoffrey Francis Fisher, D.D., M.A., has been Bishop of Chester since 1932. He .is 52 years of age and was Headmaster of Repton School, 1911-14.
