Signor Mussolini, in a birthday message to Herr Hitler affirmed that the enemies of Italy and Germany would never break the Axis. “One day,” he said, “they will realise that they are pursuing a wrong course. Fascism and Nazism are the way to justice and peace.” Herr Hitler replied giving.an assurance of their unshakeable and friendly union.
