CHURCH SERVICES
Special Anzac services wil be held at Knox Church tomorrow, conducted by the'Rev. John Davie. An invitation to be present is extended to returned soldiers.
Special services suitable to St. George’s Day will be held at St. Matthew’s Church tomorrow. The vicar will be the preacher both in the morning and in the evening. Services will be held also at Kuripuni, both morning and evening, at Tauerti in the afternoon, and at Upper Plain in the evening.
A service of interest to young and old will be held in the Methodist Church tomorrow evening when the spiritual message of the recent Bible Class Camp will be given by three of the leaders of the camp, Messrs A. Handyside, Murray Daniell, and A. Griggs. The services will be conducted by the Rev F. J. Parker, with the assistance of other leaders. All the Bible Classes will meet in the church at 9.45 a.m. lor a combined Bible Class opening. The morning service, conducted by the minister will have as its theme, "The Hign Mark of Personality.” At the Kuripuni Methodist Church tomorrow the services will be conducted by Mr E. Steer in the morning, and by Mr M. White in the evening. The services at the Salvation Army tomorrow will be conducted by Major Mahaffie in the morning, and Major and Mrs Ericson of the Whatman Home at night. Major Mahaffie will deliver a special message at the morning service on "Eternal Certainty.” All are heartily invited to. . attend the Army's services.
