QUEEN CARNIVAL.' (“Times-Age” Special.) At a meeting of the supporters of the Red Queen, Miss Ngaire Tocker, held at Mr Tocker’s home, it was decided to hold a Barn dance in Mr Fuge’s barn on April 29, and a concert in South Featherston Hall on May. 8.. Euchre Party. The winners at the euchre party held bythe Home and School Association on Tuesday night were as follows: —Ladies: Miss Robinson. 1; Mrs Mellish, 2. Men: Mr Rae, 1; Mr Graham, 2. .1 League of Mothers. The second monthly meeting of the League of Mothers was held yesterday afternoon. Mrs Archie Clark presided over a very good attendance. Apologies for absence were received from Mesdames Ruane, F. W. Burt, F. Benton, Charles Carter and Harkness. After the opening hymn and prayer Mrs Arch. Clark introduced the speaker for the afternoon, Miss Higgison, Matron of the Greytown Hospital, who gave a most glowing description of the 1938 Anzac Dawn Parade, which was listened to with deep interest. Mrs Clark thanked Miss Higgison for her address. The tea hostesses were Mesdames A. Clark, Wakely, Blain and J. Buck. Miniature Rifle Club. The following are the scores at the weekly shoot of the Featherston Miniature Rifle Club: —B. Williams, 100; A. Hodder, 97; J. Buck, 97; K. McKenzie, 96; S. Benton, 96; Miss G. Brash, 96; Miss J.
