NEW ZEALAND FOURSOMES. RESULTS OF YESTERDAY’S PLAY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. As a result of rain the previous night and frequent showers yesterday, players in the New Zealand Ladies’ Golf Unions’ autumn foursomes on the Hutt links found conditions very difficult from those of the opening day, when fairways were parched and greens on the fast side. The semi-finals will be played this morning and the finals this afternoon. Following are the results of yesterday’s play:— AUTUMN FOURSOMES. Third Round: Mrs Slater and Mrs Chrisp beat Mrs McKenzie and Mrs Houston, 8 and 6. Mrs R. C. Cook and Mrs D. Wilson beat Mrs Hall-Jones and Miss M. McCallum at the nineteenth.
