WESTERN EGYPT
BRITISH TROOPS MASSED ON FRONTIER. WARSHIPS AT ALEXANDRIA. (Independent Cable Service.) PORT SAID, April 18. Heavy concentrations ■of British troops on the Western Egyptian frontier are reported. Reinforcements have, arrived from Palestine and others are; reported to -be en route from India. Anti-aircraft batteries and coastal defence artillery have been mounted at Port Said and the Suez Canal :zone.’ Six British warships are anchored at Alexandria.
