LONGBUSH

COMING-OF-AGE PARTY. (“Times-Age” Special.) A very enjoyable afternoon was spent recently at the home of Mr and Mrs W. Bubb the occasion being the celebration of the coming-of-age of their daughter Annie. There was a large number of friends present, some coming from Hawke’s Bay, as well as various parts of the Wairarapa. During the afternoon, Mr Bubb in an appropriate speech presented his daughter with a “golden” key, Miss Bubb suitably replied. Musical honours accorded to Miss Bubb brought the happy gathering to a conclusion.
