NEW DOMINION AWARD. (By Telegraph—Press Association.)' CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. A forty-hour five-day week and a minimum' Wage of 2s 6Jd for males are provided for in the new Dominion footwear manufacturing indu'sfry award, which was agreed to by Conciliation Council this morning. The minimu rate for females of over five years’ experience is £2 17s 6d per week. The wages are retrospective to April 3, and the award will continue for a year. . .
