ST.. JOHN AMBULANCE

CADET DIVISION DANCE. Considering the counter attractions on Saturday night, and the fact that the weather was warm, there was a very good attendance at the Masonic Hall, where the St. / John Ambulance V Association (Cadet Division) held another of their popular dances. Mr Pat Ward again acted as Master of Ceremonies, and Jack Barnes’s Orchestra supplied the music. A very amusing competition was held for a tea cosy, and the winner was Mr R. S. Stevens (c/o. Messrs C. E. Daniell, Ltd.). The Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss A. Keisenberg and Mr Crystall. The Lucky Spot dance was won by Miss F. Butler and Mr J. Ritchie. Mr Don Davey gave a much appreciated exhibition of tap dancing, and was warmly applauded. He responded with a song, and another tap dance. Extras were played by Mr Grant, and Mr and Mrs C. Minifie. The work of the lady helpers was greatly appreciated by the social committee.
