. GERMAN ALLEGATIONS DISPROVED. ARAE BOY FIRES ON TROOPS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.55 a.m.) RUGBY, April 14. Allegations have appeared in the German Press that an Arab boj was abducted anti murdered in Lydda by British soldiers. Inquiries show that the only incident in which an Arab boy has been concerned took place on April 12, during a military search, when an Arab boy drew a pistol and tried to fire at the troops. The pistol misfired and the boy ran away, but was wounded and captured. Subse-* quently he told soldiers who caught him that he fired on instructions of a certain Fakhri Maraka, a notorious terrorist, who accordingly has been arrested.
