ST. MATTHEW’S GUILD

ENJOYABLE CARD PARTY.

PRESENTATION TO MR W. WINHALL. A large number of players were present at the first of the St. Matthew’s Ladies’ Guild card parties held in the Parish Hall on Thursday evening. These gatherings will take place throughout the winter. Those who attended on Thursday night spent a thoroughly enjoyable time. Opportunity was taken during the evening to make a presentation to Mr W. Winhall, marking the occasion of his marriage. Mr Winhall suitably replied. The results of the card tournament were as follow:—Men: Mr L. Pearson; ladies, Mrs McPherson; consolation, Mr E. J. Coleman.
