MAURICEVILLE TALKIES
“RAMONA” SHOWS TOMORROW. Picturegoers in New Zealand need no introduction to "Ramona,” Helen Hunt Jackson's immortal story which created new records in New Zealand in the days of the silent pictures, with Ronald Colman and Vilma Banky. This time, however, the picture is filmed entirely in the newly perfected natural colour, and nothing before screened can come up to “Ramona” for sheer beauty of colour. The story deals with old Californian days—brilliant fiestas, songs, fandangos, laughter, secret meetings, mission bells, and thrilling adventure. There is everything to thrill patrons and delight the eye in this picture. There is an excellent supporting programme.
