SALE OF WOOLPACKS

FIXED BY REGULATION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day, Prices for woolpacks are fixed by regulations published in the Gazette issued last evening. The maximum price at which a woolpack can be sold to a purchaser for his own use for delivery in Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Timaru, Bluff, and Oamaru is fixed at 3s lOd for a 42-inch pack, at 4s 2d for a 48-inch pack, and at 4s 6d for a 54-inch pack. Reasonable cost of transport is to be allowed in the case of packs for delivery elsewhere. No person is to sell a woolpack at other than the prescribed prices unless he is satisfied the purchaser is 4 acquiring it for resale.
