TIRAUMEA

FAREWELL PARTY. (“?imes-Age” Special.) Last week a farewell party was tendered to Mrs A. E. Graham and her son, Mr V. W. Graham, at Mr and Mrs John Liverton’s home in the Waihoke Valley. Mrs Graham and the late Mr W. V. Graham came to the district 14 years ago and for the 11£ years had been at Waterfalls Station. During the evening Mrs Graham and her son were both presented with small gifts by Mr R. J. Harman, senr, on behalf of the residents of the district. Mr V. Graham replied on behalf of his mother and himself. The party concluded with the singing of Auld Lang Syne. Mr and Mrs Graham will be leaving the district very shortly.
