The Metropolitan Trotting * Club’s meeting is being brought to a conclusion today. The track is hard and the weather dull.but fine. There is a large attendance. Results: — SPREYDON HANDICAP, 11m. 1/1 Gerfalcon, 48yds. (O. E. Hooper) 1 2/3 Timworthy, 48yds. (F. Holmes) 2 4/6, Listowel, scr. (J. Mackie) 3 All started. Won by i a head, with Listowel 11 lengths away. Time, 3.22. LINWOOD HANDICAP. 11 miles. 2/2 Parauri, scr (F. J. Smith) 1 1/1 Loyal Pat, scr (Pringle) 2 4/4 Token, 24yds (McKendry) .... 3 All started. Wen by two lengths, with the third horse a neck further back. Time 3.15 2-5.
Acuity and Agility were coupled with Loyal Pat.
