NOTIFICATION BY FRANCE KEEPING OF FOREIGN TROOPS AN UNFRIENDLY ACT. WITHDRAWAL BY MAY 15 SOUGHT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Conyright PARIS, April 12. It is stated that Marshal Petain, French Ambassador in Burgos, has been instructed to inform General Franco that France would regard the retention by him of foreign troops in Spain after May 15 as an unfriendly act. It is reported from Burgos that General Franco’s Cabinet approved the construction of a network of highways in Morocco and the improvement of the seaplane base. The Allied forces remained in France for several months after the Great War. The volunteers have tb participate in a victory march, probably on May 2. For this reason they are remaining in Spain until a date being announced la-ter,-when they are retiring, in accordance with repeated promises. SERVICE IN ROME ATTENDED BY FORMER ROYALTIES.
