Mrs Shelly, Wellington, has been on a visit to the Wairarapa. Mr and Mrs Steve Sharman, of Jean Street, Masterton, are spending a holiday in Wairoa. Mrs F. C. Buhny, of Greytown, spent the Easter holidays at Napier, and has gone on to Taupo. Mrs Sherrifs, Marton, has been spending a few days with Mrs W. H. Booth, Middle Run, Carterton. Mrs Robert Maxwell, College Street, Masterton, is the guest of Mrs Madden, Clareville. Mr and Mrs A. Honeyman, of Marton, who have been on a visit to Masterton, returned home today. Mrs F. G. A. Stuckey, of Dunedin, is on a visit to Masterton, and is the guest of Mrs A. W. McKenzie, of Renall Street. Mr and Mrs F. M. Morton, Perry Street, returned to Masterton yesterday after having spent the Easter holidays in Auckland. Mr R. C. Miles, of Tinui, clerk to the Castlepoint County Council, and Mrs Miles, spent the Easter holidays in Greytown as the guests of Mr and Mrs J. Robb. Miss Gladys Moncrieff, the Australian singer, arrived at Wellington by the Wanganella yesterday and left at night by the inter-island steamer for a visit to the South Island. ENGAGEMENT HENDERSON—WYETH. The engagement is announced of NoTa Phoebe, only daughter of Mr and Mrs A. G. Wyeth, of Gladstone, to Sydney Thomas, eldest son of Mr and Mrs H. T. Henderson, Te Whiti.
