LEGION OF FRONTIERSMEN

EASTER CAMP AT MATAHIWI. The K Squadron of the Legion of Frontiersmen went into camp during Easter on the property of Mrs S. E. M. Holmes, Matahiwi. The camp, which, was in charge of Captain Johnston, was attended by a good muster of Frontiersmen, at least 17 being in camp throughout the period. Rifle shooting, both .22 and .303, first aid instruction and mounted drill were included in the activities and on Saturday night Commandant Findlater. of Hawera, who is in charge of the New Zealand Legion of Frontiersmen, spoke On world affairs.
