HAWKE CUP CONTEST. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HAMILTON. April 11. Waikato successfully defended the Hawke Cup against North Auckland the match concluding today. The visitors, who lost seven wicket’ for 48 runs yesterday, batted only half an hour today to add 5. Waikato won by 341 runs, the second innings realising 273 (Everest 64, Skeet 48).
