MASTERTON CLUB TOURNEY. WIN FOR CHRISTIAN’S RINK. A rinks tournament played on the Masterton Bowling Club's green yesterday for a lamb donated by Mr H. B. Thomas was won by Fenton Frost, J. Campbell, Christian (s), who won all five games, with a total of 68 points. Hayne’s rink was second with 4 wins and 58 points. Results are as follow: — First round: Haycroft, Rogers, Douglas, E. Reid (s) beat Watson, Holtham, Madsen, Nielsen (s),' 10/7; Weller, Guy, Hunter, Wearne (s) beat Trevorrow, Vowell, Kerr. Perry (s). 12/9; Gooding. Lewis, J. L. Hughes, C. Jones (s) beat Hyde. Denbee, McCullough, Forest (s), 13/11; Fenton, Frost, J. Campbell, Christian (s) beat Blane, McKay, W. Reid, Hayne (s), 12/6.
Second round: Christian beat Nielsen. 12/8; Perry beat Reid, 14/8; Wearne beat Jones, 11/8; Hayne beat Forest, 15/5. Third round: Nielsen beat Forest, 14/5; Jones beat Reid, 16/6; Hayne beat Wearne, 13/8; Christian beat Perry, 12/6. Fourth round: Nielsen beat Perry, 9/8; Hayne beat Jones, 12/11; Reid beat Wearne, 15/12; Christian beat Forest, 21/4. Fifth round: Nielsen beat Jones, 13/3; Hayne beat Perry, 12/5; Christian beat Wearne, 11/6; Reid drew with Forest, 9/9.
