SHIPS DETAINED
4. ALLEGATION BY JAPANESE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Dav. 11.5 a.m.) SHANGHAI, April 10. The Japanese detained ten ships, nine flying the Portuguese flag,- in order to examine their registry, alleging that Chinese owners are running vessels under foreign flags.
